Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Limit
Hello. I was going to sue one of the major cell phone companies because they did not return my deposit and overcharged extra $1000. I had a contruct with the company 2 years ago, and my contract expired last year. But, the comapny didn't give me a deposit even though I submitted the casher's check of the deposit. Instead, they overcharged another $1000 without any explanation. I was forced to pay the another $1000, and I recieved the receipt the last April this year. But, I had to travel to other countries, and I had no time to prepare for the trial. Is it still possible to sue the company?
