Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
hi, I live in California and pay rent on a housing lease..I was in a car accident in dec 09..Still on disability and unable to continue to pay on my lease..I would like to move to a less expensive rental house..Will the landlord win in court???

Becoming disabled or having an inability to pay does not relieve you of your contractual tenant obligations. Have you gone to the landlord and explained your situation? What if you offered to help find a replacement tenant? A review of your agreement would be necessary to fully advise.
