Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
I live in Yucaipa and have experienced several power outages at my home recently. The most recent one has caused some damage to my computer even though it's plugged into a high quality surge protector. SCE seems to have a very lackadaisical attitude about supplying a reliable source of electricity to my house.
My first question is, can I get SCE to pay for my damaged computer? And, my second one is, do I have any recourse to motivate them to become a more trustworthy supplier of energy to my house.
