Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
How long do I have to cancel a furniture order
I ordered furniture on 5/25-03 and cancelled it on 5-28-03. The app I signed said that I could not cancel special orders and that I would be charged a 10% restocking fee. The manager said he would cancel the special order but that I have to pay a restocking fee. The furniture had not even been loaded in a truck to be delivered. Does'nt a restocking fee mean something that I took back and did not want? Can they legally charge me this fee?
