Mail In Rebate Issue with Dell
I bought a compter from Dell in Feb 2003 and was promised $400 mail in rebate.I have paperwork to prove that.I filled out all the reqd forms and got notification from them that my rebate application is under process.Got no rebate
check so far.Their normal customer service people just refused to help and besides that did things that added to my frustration for months.After getting extremelyfrustrated by the way they handled all my queries and requests in their normal channels of help I spent days seaching for emails of people at Dell that might listen to me and
I wrote letters and Emails to some people at Dell.Finally I got a reply from their CEO's office.They now offer me $400.00 which I was suppossed to get in April 2003.If I ever make a late payment to dell they would
put heavy fines on me.Can I demand more than $400.00 from them for all the time loss and the enormousfrustration I have suffered at their hands due to no fault of mine.
