Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
I am trying to get a mail-order company Green Culture, Inc. to send a return authorization for an item that they shipped to my home after I filed a dispute with my credit card company.
I ordered the item on 11/25/09. It was not shipped within the 3 weeks that they said it would be. I called them about it and they said it was back-ordered until mid-January. I asked for a refund to my credit card at that time. they refused saying that they do not do refunds. I waited for my item (with no word from Green Culture, Inc) until February 12, 2010. I emailed them and requested an immediate refund for the undelivered item. They refused again. I contacted my credit card company and placed the item in dispute. The credit card company issued me a refund.
Green Culture drop-shipped the item to my driveway without my knowledge, 4 days AFTER I filed the dispute, and they are now asking me to send them a check or they will ruin my credit.
I want them to come pick up this item that they shipped to my home and leave me alone.
What can I do to have them return this item?
