Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Is Merchant Obligated to Give Refund for Unhealthy Product?
Can a merchant legally refuse to refund money for returned merchandise? I purchaed a $22 bottle of makeup from an up-scale day spa. My face broke out, and I returned the makeup and receipt within the week. I was refused a refund and told to select other cosmetics. I wanted nothing and am out $22. Is this legal?

Unless there is an visible return policy, then the seller must refund your money. If they refuse, go to small claims.
