mis representation of product
i just bought a puppy from pearlies pomeranians. they required i sign a contract stating if check didnt clear, would charge 3x amount. i just found out they were charged for animal cruelty, and they did not disclose this info. can i get out of the contract and charges for this if I place a stop payment?

Congratulations on your new puppy. Almost certainly the fact that the seller was charged with animal cruelty does not entitle you to stop payment on your check. Even if there were some law entitling you to a free puppy based on the seller's alleged animal cruelty -- and I don't know of one -- remember they are presumed innocent until proven guilty. You can rest secure in the knowledge you may have saved a puppy from a possibly abusive environment.
