Misleading promises on the internet
I get these e-mails and see adds saying if I complete their survey I will recieve a free gift. however once i complete the survey ,I get a message that I have to buy something or pay a huge amount for shipping before I get the gift.They already have the completed survey and I can not cancel the information. so I have worked free gratus . is this legal ? if not where can you file a claim.

Yes, I believe that these are false advertisements and have previously thought about filing a lawsuit.
I suppose that the entity to file a complaint with would be the FTC (Federal Trade Commission). If not them, they might at least be able to direct you to the proper place.
