Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Missing half of an order
I ordered three pairs of shoes in June 2002, one was discontinued so they refunded my money for that pair. After waiting for more than the time specified for delivery only one pair of shoes has shown up. I have written them more than a few e-mails most of the time with no response back. I have also contacted the BBB who also have gotten no response from the company. The last response that I have gotten said that the shoes would be delivered within one week and still I have gotten no shoes. I cannot get in contact with this company. What should be the next step to get this resolved? I am not against sending back the shoes they have sent to get a complete refund.

Re: Missing half of an order
It sounds like this company is no longer in business. the best that you can hope for is to recover your money in small claims court.
