Getting my money back

Hi. I use an financial firm to send money to India. This company has made a withdrawal of $6000 from my bank account last october and when I have asked them to return my money back, they have been giving some excuse or another.

I would like to start a lawsuit against them

$6000 is within small claims court jurisdiction, you could file the suit there and save yourself attorney fees. Or if you feel you are owed more or if you would prefer an attorney to handle it, I would go over everything with an attorney of your choice to get their opinion. naca.net is a good resource to find consumer attorneys.
