Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
How do I get my money back from a infomercial?
I am a Senior on a fixed income. I ordered an item from an Informercial, sent it back because it was defective & misrepresented, Company acknowledges my return but will not refund my money. They ignore my calls & also Consumers Services letter. I also discovered that there have been other complaints. I can't afford to lose this amount. What do I do when they are in another State than mine? Thank you!

Notify the FTC. The Federal Trade Commission.

Assuming they are in florida you can attempt to sue them in the county where they delivered the product, alleging that that was where the breach occurred.
