Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Moving company violates pickup/delivery dates
Signed binding estimate with moving company in calif. to deliver goods within a 5 to 11 day window. Movers never showed up. Never telephoned or sent telegram. I called them. They gave me a new delivery time. Didn't show on the new date. I called again. Delivered a week and a half after 5 to 11 day window with no communication to me. Do I have any rights to sue for breach of contract? If so, does it have to be filed in Calif? Nationwide moving company.

Re: Moving company violates pickup/delivery dates
Yes, i think you could file in your new home jurisdiction because the delivery was to take place there.
