Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Moving fiasco
What legal recourse do I have when I was quoted 1 price and then my personal belonging were put in storage and then was quoted another prce and my stuff was then held 'hostage' unless I paid the amount which was over 100% than the quote.
What can I do? I was never given a copy of any contract prior to moving which is state law. Do I have any recourse to get my personal belongings?

Re: Moving fiasco
Moving companies are regulated by the state. Notify the proper agency and then file suit in small claims court.
