Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
a night club in Berkeley discounts the cover charge 50% for UC Berkeley students and not for other colleges. In the past any college ID entitled you to the 50% discount. I said this was discriminatory but they have not changed the policy. Is there a legal case or law I can site to make them reinstate the discount to all students?
thanks

None that I'm aware of.
There are laws that prohibit discrimination based on personal characteristics such as race, gender, religion and national origin, but nothing that says students of all schools are entitled to equal treatment.
