Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
odometer rollback
I have come to find out thru Carfax.com, that my odometer is reading 48,000 miles less than what is stated on the Carfax report. I have had nothing but problems with this car since I have had it. What is it that I should do? Sue them, or go and talk to them and try and work something out. I travel a lot, and find myself at times putting it off. I would really like to take care of this, but am not sure how to approach this. Any Ideas? I would appreciate it.

DEAR SIR, IN RESPONSE TO YOUR MESSAGE YOU DEFINITELY HAVE A CLAIM AGAINST THE SELLER OF THE VEHICLE PURSUANT TO THE CONSUMER LEGAL REMEDIES ACT OF CALIFORNIA, FEDERAL AND STATE ODOMETER LAWS AND FRAUD. I TAKE THESE TYPES OF CASES ON A CONTINGENCY BASIS AND WOULD BE HAPPY TO SPEAK WITH YOU OVER THE PHONE OR MEET WITH YOU IN PERSON TO REVIEW YOUR CASE. THANK YOU, HOWARD SILVER
