Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
I got an oil change done at walmart today, When I got home (roughly 15 miles later) my car was smoking and bone dry on oil. my car was full with oil before the oil change, and was about 300 miles overdue so I know it was not having any issues before this incident. I spoke with walmarts management off and on for about three hours they told me they are turning this case over to there insurance company, after hearing this I had it towed to a trusted mechanic. Basically I'm wondering what I should do, I've had this car for about 6 months, and it has less than 60k mileage. I'm also a full time college student and I travel about an hour and a half to get to school four days a week, I could really use some advice.

Sue Wal Mart ffor any damages. Your other mechanic will have to testify in small claims court against Wal Mart.
