Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Opened Software/DVDs/CDs
If memory serves, there is a law, I think , that prohibits the returns of opened software, DVD, and CD media.
What law is this?

I don't think there is such a law. It is just the policy of most stores to not accept returns of such merchandise unless damaged or defective.

I agree with Mr. Berger. This is a store policy and may be a condition of the licensing agreement of the software maker.
