Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

I ordered a part a month ago and the latest date it should have arrived has passed and there is a competition soon that I always win. The package is the main part of my display and performance now I am not gonad be able to win maybe not even enter. Can that have grounds for Suing? Should I take to small claims court? Grand price $1000-$10,000 which I always win!

I am just very upset and think they should have held their end of the deal

When you order something, unless there was any confirmed delivery date, you are at the mercy of the shipping company. Case Dismissed!
