Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Paying for services not rendered?
I needed to have documents officially translated under a tight time frame. I
faxed them to a translator. I was unable to pick up the translations due to
time contraints. The translator is demanding I pay for the translations
although I never picked up the documents and now no longer need them. Am
I legally obligated to pay him?

Re: Paying for services not rendered?
You requested services. The services were performed. You are therefore obligated to pay for them.
