Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
My paypal account was recently compromised, the thief spending $116 on virtual goods. I reported fraud to paypal with evidence that it was not me, and they told me to upload and fax my evidence in with step-by-step instructions on how to do so. Not only did the instructions not work, other people on their support forums complained of them not working either. I replied to Paypal, saying that the instructions were faulty and asked for other directions.
The next reply from them was notifying me that I lost the case due to insufficient evidence. I've already contacted the BBB regarding the lax investigation and customer support, what else can I do against these people? The seller sat on his hands and waited for Paypal's verdict, did nothing to help.

You need to take this to small claims court.
