Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
possession of fake $5 bill
I sent money to my relative at WesternUnion. The store owner, after checking the money, spotted a fake $5 bill. Later on, I just noticed him trying to capture my close up image. Now I am very much worried that I will be reported to the authority for my ignorance of possesing a fake bill. Please advice me what to do.

Re: possession of fake $5 bill
Most likely you would not be tracked down or prosecuted unless you passed multiple fake bills. However, if you encounter a badge, clam up! Do not speak to the nice officer, at all! The only thing you should say is, "Sir, Very Respectfully I have nothing to say to you, may I call an attorney?"
