Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

I prepaid for a sofa and bed two days ago which has not been delivered yet. I noticed that it states on the invoice that there are no exchanges, no refunds and all sales are final. The sales clerk mentioned that there are flame retardant chemicals in the mattress. I have a history of chemical sensitivity and cannot subject myself to the chemicals in the bed. What are my legal grounds for getting my money refunded?

It sounds like you will need to buy a new mattress for the sofa bed or resell it. You were informed about the chemicals by the clerk when you bought it. You don't have a right to cancel the sale two days later over something you knew about before you made the purchase. The sale was completed when you bought it and agreed to have it delivered at a later date. You have a binding contract of sale and delivery.
