Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
I purchased autographed sports memorabilia from NFL.com. I was shocked to see that the sale price for this item was only $39.00 with an normal price of $860. Without hesitation I purchased the item. NFL.com send me an email saying that my order has been received and then another email saying my order has been confirmed. They debited my bank account for the purchase price. Today, I decided to check the order status to see if they had a ship date. In stead ,I see that they have canceled my order. Is this legal? Does NFL.com have to honor the price they charged me? I am not sure if this would fall under federal law or California law. What section of the consumer law would this fall under?
