Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
i purchased a computer from best buy and had some upgrades put in. When i called to see what time the computer would be ready they informed me the computer was picked up by someone already. Now they are claiming i had someone pick up the computer in order to recieve a second on for free which is not true. What should i do?

Definitely escalate your inquiries to the appropriate regional office and explain that time is of the essence. If that doesn't get you results within a reasonable time, you could file a small claims suit for the value of the computer, installed software, irreplaceable photographs, etc. You might also contact a troubleshooter for computer magazines or TV stations who might get faster results.
