Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
I have purchased milk from food 4 less (a grocery store) that had gone bad well before the printed expiration date predicted it, I then unknowingly ingested said milk and became slightly ill. I have returned the milk and let the store know what happened and was given a refund. I was told there was some trouble with their refrigerator and I was not the only person to return bad milk. But since I became sick, under what I see as the complete fault of the store, I was wondering if there is any legal action I can take?

You returned the milk and got a refund. In your own words, you only became "slightly ill". There were no permanent injuries and you haven't described any circumstances that would justify a large award of money. I would chalk it up to experience and move on.
