Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

Purchasing a car

Approximately 2 weeks ago my wife and I purchased a car. In the deal we had to put money down and trade in our car. Since then, we recieved a call from the dealership stating me and my wife need to renegoitate because the trade in pay off was higher than the dealership anticipated. What are our options? We like our new car and we signed all the neccessary documents. I have two questions: when is automobile deal final? Am I obligated to sign yet another contract?

Thank you in advance

Re: Purchasing a car

It's called a yo-yo sale (Google the terms). Write them a letter telling them to go pound sand, or better yet hire a lawyer to write the letter for a small fee.

You are probably not obligated to sign another contract. Contact me if you have more questions.
