Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
i put 800 towards a van for 1500 . i couldnt come up with the other 700 so they sold it to someone else n only gave me back 500

What was the deal and what was their explanation for why they kept $300.00?
If they sold it for more than you were going to pay they should have given it all back. If they sold if for less then you might arguably be responsible for the difference. If they had a cancellation provision that could be it too.
