Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
I received extra cash at payroll processing place
Am i required to give back the extra amount she counted it back to me i thought she was mistaken or mispoke so i just didn't pay attention til i got home and i recounted my money i came up over 90 extra than my check was suppose to be. The lady didn't give me a receipt and a couple hours later she called my house to say she entered the weong amount what is the law regarding employee error can i go to jail for not giving it back?
