Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
I recently made a trip to Bear Mountain, CA in which I spent a weekend up there with several friends. At the end of Sunday I had turned my snowboard and boots in and was told that I was good to go. On 3feb2011 I was charged $500.00 for not turning in the snowboard. I have asked them to recheck their stock and fix this problem to which I got a blunt "no this is your fault" and not really a whole lot of help. I've been serving active duty military for almost 3 years now and I have the money for my own snowboard, so I wouldn't need to steal one. Thanks for any possible help I can get on this.

If the charge was on a credit card, contest the charge with the credit card company. I hope you got a receipt when you turned in the board.
