My recently terminated auto lease contained a clause stating a $350 fee for not purchasing the vehicle upon return. My attempt to purchase the vehicle was denied. Am I obligated to pay the $350?

It is impossible to properly answer your question without seeing a full copy of the lease agreement. I cannot tell from your description if the lease clause is valid or not nor can I tell if you made an offer to purchase the vehicle that complied with terms of the contract.
