Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Never Recieved A Statement For Services, never made a payment
I moved a year ago and had my cable television service transferred to my new location. I have lived here a year and never recieved a statement, late notice or telephone call but continued to recieve the service. I have not paid for the service for a year now. I am relocating again and wish to have my service transferred to my next location but am in fear of being back-billed. Can the cable television company do this although I never recieved statements, late notices or reminder phone calls?
