a dealership wants me to return a car i purchased because they cannot find financing for me i want to keep the car what can i do

It's called a "yo-yo sale," and it's a deceptive sales practice. I would write to the dealership, certified mail RRR, telling them to go pound sand and if they repo the car, you'll sue.
If you don't know hoe to write a letter, or you think a letter on a lawyer's letterhead would carry more clout, sometimes it does, my standard fee for Go Pound Sand letters is $100.
