Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
refund of a ''non-refundable'' deposit to a preschool
I paid a $100 deposit to a preschool I was considering for my son. My understanding is that the deposit was hold his place in the school. Within 24 hours I called the school and said I had changed my mind and wanted the deposit back. Is there any law that would prevent me from demanding that my deposit be refunded?
