Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

Refuse To Cooporate.

I am writing on behalf of my 82 year old father and 69 year old mother. They have been charged $833.28 over the last 16 months, for a service that was never installed properly.(internet service w/COMCAST. when i called to complain about the unfairness the customer service agent (BRIANNE), replied, and I quote'' your parents must be stupid, not to of said anything for so long'' I don't really think that was professional or necessary. She also to me that they don't keep records 16 months back so they would have to eat the $833.28. To be honest , this happened yesterday, and I'm still appauled at her resolutions and comments. Should I take this matter further?

Re: Refuse To Cooporate.

Absolutely. A letter to the company's president should draw some attention. Also mention your parents' age. Maybe cc: the letter to AARP or some older citizens' rights group.
