If I do not renew my subscription to a news publication and they continue to deliver can they bill me for issues I did not order?

There can big a big difference between not renewing an cancelling. A lot of a publications will have automatic renewal clauses in their contracts that allow them to keep delivering and billing you until you tell them to stop. You need to read the agreement you signed to see if this is the case.
