Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
rental agreement
I am a former tenant at a storage facility here in California,do I have the right to get a copy of the rental agreement? The corporation told me that I do not.I want the agreement for small claims court. The managers neglected to have us fill out other forms (ex. auto. payment form)I dont think we signed an agreement either,I want proof.

Re: rental agreement
You are entitled to a copy. Write to the company requesting it and get their refusal to comply in writing. It will be damaging to the company if they try to enforce a contract that they cannot/willnot produce.
