Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
rental hall deposit
i rented a hall about six months ago for my wedding and less than a week ago My fiance dumped me my wedding was supposed to be this saturday so i called today and canceled. i know i waited a couple days but honestly i had bigger things on my mind like a place to live. i put a five hundred dollar deposit and dont expect to get that back but will i be liable for the full amount?
