Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Requirement to Offer a Product to Everyone?
Hello-
If a company offers a product, such as an extended warranty on a phone, is the company required to make the warranty available to every owner of this particular phone? I would like to know if the company can offer the warranty to ONLY its customers, and customers who purchase from retail markets. Is this discriminatory?
Thank you for your time and response!
