Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
return
I made a purchase and want to return it (tv is acting up and not pleased). It is past the stated return period. The original transaction was a bit involved, but I was not refunded the correct amount and i am owed money. I am wondering since the transaction was not completed correctly could i return the tv and get a full refund. do i have any legal basis to ask for a refund? this is a large chain--box store.

Re: return
I don't get it. Why are you owed money? If you are owed money, why didn't you wait there to get it then? You probably can't go back now and rescind the deal, although you may have been able to do so at one point. Now, you are probably stuck with the tv.
