Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Return of Rented Auto
When trying to return a rental car on a Satruday I found the company closed. Inspecting the contract I found their business hours, but there is no ''initial here'' box near it. An 800 number revealed that I can not return it until Monday and must pay the daily rate until then. Since the charges are on a per-day basis, are they required to provide me a way of terminating my rental agreement on any day? Are they required to make sure the renter understands their business schedule?
Thanks, you guys are the bomb...
