Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
return shipping charge
I live in California. I recently purchased software from an Australian company. They sent me a bill and I paid for it. They then shipped me the software plus some equipment required to install the software. They then asked me to pay for the return shipping and ship the equipment back.
This shipping charge was never disclosed in the purchase agreement or the bill they sent me. In fact it was never even implied anywhere.
Am I legally responsible for paying for the return shipment?
