Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
What are my rights concerning a car repossession?
If my car has been repossessed for non- payment, (one month) don't they have to notify me of there intentions, or that they will be taking the car, I first reported it stolen, but now think the finance company may have picked up. What is the protacol if any in this situation, and what do I do to get back? Thanks in advance for your help in this matter.

Re: What are my rights concerning a car repossession?
If you are a day late they can repo you. They need not give you any notice. After that, they will sell your car to their friends to next to nothing and send you a bill for the difference between the bogus sale price and the amount you owe on the car.
