Rights of a family with 5 small children, in regards to Edison and shut off of e
I have never had electricity turned off before, ever. I did not receive a termination notice, but received a current bill which did not have terminiation date on it. Edison turned off electricity and would not turn back on when I contacted them at 6:00pm with payment by phone, even though I explained that I have 5 small children and we would have no heat. They turned on at 1:30pm the following day, but want a $370.00 deposit from me in order to keep service. Do I have to pay the deposit?
