Salvage Title on Used Car Purchase
I just bought a used car from a private party. I did a title search over the internet and it had a ''clean'' history. I come to find out when I receive the title from DMV a few weeks later, it was a salvage. Do I have any recourse and if so what? Is the seller required to disclose this information?

Re: Salvage Title on Used Car Purchase
By law, the seller must disclose the vehicle is a salvage and it should be stamped on the title. you are therefore entitled to your money back in exchange for returning the car to the seller. Call me at my office (818 597-2610) if you want to discuss further. Howard Silver
