Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
I want to sell tangible products door-to-door in California. Do I need any type of permits to do this or can I just go knock on doors and start selling? Thanks.

That is a matter of local law. Each city has its own ordinances about that, and for neighborhoods and communities that are not within the city limits of any city government, there will be county ordinances that govern. You need to check with each city and county in which you intend to sell, for what their requirments are.
