Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Selling of a motorcycle that isn't in the sellers name.
I bought a motorcycle from a guy online. I paid for the motorcycle via paypal. I picked up the motorcycle but couldnt get the pink slip at that time. The guy who I bought the motorcycle from said he would mail it to me. It took him about 3-4 weeks to mail the title to me, this is after I had asked for my money back. I receive the title and it isnt in his name. It is still in the name of who he bought the motorcycle from. Could the person who I bought the motorcycle from legally sell the bike since the title wasnt in his name? Do I have a case to him to court for a full refund?
Thank You

If the pink is signed by the named title owner, then you can register it with the DMV. The guy who sold it to you just did not register it. He may be a dealer.
