Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

Service repair fraud

I had my transmission worked on by a ''chain'' business in Ventura Co. The cost was $3,400.00 and was told I needed the work. I was told to come back in 2 weeks for a follow-up.I returned in 12 days to find the business gone. I have contacted the corporate offices and thought that they were working towards a solution to get my car repaired (what I payed for) They now seem to be avoiding my calls.I just want my car in working order, and my warranty honored. Thank-you

Re: Service repair fraud

IN RESPONSE TO YOUR QUESTION, YOU ARE OF COURSE ENTITLED TO RECEIVE WHAT YOU PAID FOR IN TERMS OF CAR REPAIRS TO YOUR TRANSMISSION. THE CORPORATE OFFICE OF THE "CHAIN" YOU WENT TO SHOULD MAKE SURE OF THAT. HOWEVER, TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION MORE SPECIFICALLY I NEED MORE FACTS ABOUT YOUR SITUATION. YOU MAY TELEPHONE ME AT MY OFFICE FOR A FREE CONSULTATION (818 597-2610). THANK YOU, HOWARD SILVER
