Services on a vehicle

I sent a vehicle to california to have work done on it. I have since not been able to get in contact with the person i sent the car too. I have an address where the person stayed(family's house) i have his cell phone number which he doesnt answer. how much will it be to send a letter stating that I will take him to court if he does not respond back to me with the information i need. there is no contract or paperwork signed. i still have the title to my car.

It should cost you nothing. Send the letter yourself. No one should send this letter for you. Or, just sue him for the value of the car. Check with a NY lawyer to see if you can sue in small claims court or come to CA and sue him in small claims court.

I charge a flat fee of $100 for letters on my lawyer letterhead and, in your case, I'll throw in a search of the cell phone number (which costs me) and another letter to the police in his locality. I take PayPal.
