My sister cut her left large toe while trying a shoe in SAKS' store.
My sister cut her left large toe while trying a shoe in SAKS' store (A luxury apparel store: check it out at www.saks.com).
A nail which was hiding inside the shoe penetrated her toe.
A store manager filed a accident report to headquater.
Later, she received a letter from liability claims assistant from the headquarter. The letter says the company tried to contact her to see how she is doing by telephone but unable to reach her.
My question is that we want to receive some compensation from the company regarding this issue out of the court settlement. Is is possible? If it is, what are the procedure?

You will have to send any medical bills if any to the company. Also, make a demand.
